Reagan (the niece!) is growing up so quick! I can't believe her first birthday is less than a month away! I did some super cute photos of her splashing around in her kiddie pool at Grandma's last week and they were too cute not to share. :) Don't you think she is way too adorable in that bikini!?! :)
I was psyched when I got the call that Katie & Toby picked me to be their wedding photographer. We initially had a phone interview because they live down in Georgia. I couldn't imagine planning my wedding hundreds of miles away but Katie, Toby and each of their families did an amazing job. Everything was perfect!
Our day started off a bit different than the norm. Toby's sister had a pool party for all of their out of town guests so of course we had to photograph that! :) It was a lot of fun! Afterwards it was off to the Woodstock Country Club here in Indianapolis, where both their ceremony & reception were held. It was my first time photographing there and it definitely didn't disappoint. :) It was beautiful!
Katie & Toby .. I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Scotland! (I'm so jealous I'm not vacationing there right now!)

Wow where to begin!? I've been looking forward to Natalie & Jon's wedding since the day I met Natalie at Starbucks (yay sweetened Passion Iced Tea Lemonade!). Maybe it's because she's an art teacher at an elementary and I think that would be the best job. Or maybe it's because they are the cutest couple on the planet!? :) I don't know what it is .. but they are both so wonderful! I couldn't have been more happy to photograph their day.
They were married in an older beautiful church stuck right in the middle of a neighborhood with tons of old homes with massive amounts of character (close to where I'd love to live myself!). Their reception was held outside at the Morris Butler House right out of downtown Indy. It was a perfect day and night. Everything was absolutely beautiful! And I can't forget to mention how nice their entire family and all their guests were! It made the day so much more fun. :)
Natalie & Jon .. Dan and I hope you love your photos. We're holding you guys to hanging out soon. :) I hope you had a great time in Jamaica!
I had the opportunity to meet another wonderful family at Riley Children's Hospital last night. Nick and Ryann are the parents of a beautiful baby girl, Addyson. Ryann contacted me through the ACPCG for some photographs because Addyson was born at 25 weeks back on April 25th. She now weighs only 3 pounds.
I had a great time photographing her and her parents. They are so sweet and everyone at Riley is so nice .. especially Addyson's nurse. She helped us make sure Addyson was comfortable, stable, etc. the entire time we were there doing pictures. I'm so grateful she was so willing to stick around and help us out!
Nick & Ryann, I hope your like your pictures! Here is a little sneak peek. I can't get over how cuuuute she is! :) All my best for a healthy recovery.
Melissa, the sweet mother of beautiful baby Calypso, contacted me this weekend for photos through the ACPCG (American Child Photographers Charity Guild). I made my way to Riley Children's Hospital to meet with the family yesterday afternoon.
Calypso was born premature and her kidneys are not functioning. I have such a weak spot when it comes to children so being there was definitely not an easy task. I am so glad I had the opportunity to photograph her though. Being in the NICU surrounded by babies all fighting for their lives is an unreal experience.
Below I've posted my favorites from our short visit. I hope everyone reading this and viewing Calypso's photos will keep her in their thoughts!
