Dan and I got a new pup! Her name is Penny and she's the sweetest thing on the planet. :) A friend of mine, Elizabeth, got a basset hound puppy recently (along with a few of others in her family). Sunday we went to visit her new pup along with 4 of his brothers & sisters! There were 5 basset hound puppies running around, along with our basset Otis. I was going through major "I want a basset hound puppy" sadness!
So .. this is what we ended up with. :) Miss Penny!!! :) Her and Otis are getting along pretty well so far. This is only day 2 with her and she seems to be adjusting. She's taken over Otie's dog bed and his favorite rope toy. :) Once my weddings come to an end in a few weeks, I'll take her and Otis out for a photoshoot. :) They're way too cute sitting next to each other. :)

Ohmigosh, she really is the cutest! (Dan's phone absolutely didn't do her enough justice). It was so great meeting you at Jessica's wedding this weekend and I promise to become an avid blog-stalker/commenter :)

shes adorable! Just read your twitter about potty training. Bassetts are notoriously hard to potty train! I have a 6 year bassett. They have the sweetest disposition! My 6 year old still gives me that same face as penny is in your first picture!
