I've been looking forward to Chris & Jessica's engagement session since the second Jessica emailed me with a fun idea for a location. She asked if we'd be willing to go up to her parent's condo on Lake Wawasee. Don't get me wrong, I love Indy but if there's any chance I can photograph out of the city, I'm all for it! :)
We had an absolutely perfect evening (perfect weather & light). Everyone who lives on the lake was so welcoming .. allowing us to use their garage doors, docks, and their beautiful landscaping for our backgrounds! Some family friends of Jessica's also cooked us burgers, chicken & corn on the cob after we were done with photos! What a great way to end the night right!?
Jessica & Chris - Thank you for such a great day! Dan and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you also for making this one of our most memorable engagement shoots! We can't wait for your wedding next month!

The color shot on the pier is our favorite. Really sets the lake scene. You sure have made the rounds of the northern Indiana lakes this year! We were wondering if you would realize that you were right in the same place as you were for our wedding.:-)
