the strand family

I met the Strand family a few years ago when Dan and I photographed Natalie & Jon's wedding. Last week I was taken completely by surprise when Natalie called to let me know that Jon's mom was getting ready to start treatment for cancer & they were in need of some family photos.

Laurie has an absolutely wonderful family surrounding her and I couldn't have been more grateful that they chose me to photograph them during such a difficult time in their lives. Times like these make me realize how important my job can really be.

Please please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as she begins her treatment.

Now check out the beautiful family! :)

These look so good, Nicole! I really like the processing of the group shot where they're standing a little spread out, but my FAVORITE is the collage at the end. Great idea, and it looks amazing!
