grandpa green

The picture above is me and my grandpa when I was about 5 months old. Isn't it cute? I just recently found it over at my parent's house. It's been hanging on my fridge so I could see it every day. Yesterday I got a surprising call from my dad letting me know my grandpa had passed away. He had been sick on and off the past year or so. He lived down in Florida with my aunt but luckily they both got to come and visit 3 times last year. He also got the chance to spend some time with Reagan, who was his third great-grandchild (I looked a lot like she does now in that picture! .. even though that was taken almost 24 years ago!). :) I talked to him about a week ago and the last thing he said to me that he was so proud of everything I've accomplished with my photography and that all of my pictures were beautiful. It's been the best compliment anyone has ever given me. :) I'm really going to miss him.

What a wonderful photograph and I agree with Kirsten, good eye!
By the way, I am the Aunt of Crystal Goss...and found your web site through her site! You are a talented photographer. I guess you know Crystal's middle name is Nicole...and her maiden name is Green!! That's neat.

That's one of those photos that belongs in the national archives. Stunning. But more than than, this photo has quite a story. So nice that you posted this and can have that picture to treasure.
