I did a quick shoot of my favorite family (next to my own, of course!), the King's a while ago. I've been friends of the family since Jalaina & I went to junior high together. They have got to be the most fun people to be around .. as you can tell from the last photo (which happens to be my favorite of the bunch). That was all their idea and it's better than anything I'd ever come up with. :) They are so hilarious. I'm so glad I got the chance to photograph them. :)
Meet super cute 7 week old baby DaLon & baby Dwayne. Their sweet mom, LaDon, contacted me for photos through the ACPCG because they were born premature. Her due date wasn't supposed to be until October!
I had another wonderful experience and of course, the nurses at Riley Children's Hospital were amazing with helping us. I am so grateful for them!
LaDon got to hold her boys together for the first time while I was there and I was so excited to capture that moment for her. It was the first time they had been together since being in the womb. While she was holding them, they both opened their eyes and looked at each other. It was so sweet!
DaLon & Dwayne are both doing well, weighing in around 3 pounds each. I wish their entire family all the best. I can't wait to see how much they have grown when I go back and take a few more photos with Dad! :D
Malari (one of my best friends) and James finally (after years & years .. & a few more years!) got married .. back in June! I have been so crazy busy that I never got the chance to even work on the pictures. I am all caught up so today I picked a few of my favorites to share with you guys. I was actually a bridesmaid in the wedding so I didn't get to go all crazy and take tons of pictures like I usually do. I did get to do a few detail shots, which are my absolute favorite so it was a successful day photographing afterall. ;)

So here's the deal with the next two sets of pictures. I absolutely loved her shoes and I took way too many. :) I couldn't decide which set I liked best so they are each making an appearance.
I attended my beautiful friend Mandy's wedding this past Saturday. I wanted to post these ASAP because her and her new hubby, Chris, are moving to Africa in just a few days!
Mandy and I have been friends since our junior high days. It's so fun watching friends you've known for so long get married! I had asked if I could tag along and not just be a guest so I could take a pictures as their wedding gift. Her dad is also a photographer and did all of their pictures so it was a lot of fun learning from him and spending the day with their families. It was also nice not having the normal pressure I usually feel during weddings. :)
Mandy & Chris .. I wish you guys nothing but the best. I'm going to miss you tons. Thank you so much for letting me be a big part of your day. :)
Faves..
Sunday Dan and I made our way to Bloomington to photograph our friends Dawn and Lesedi. Dawn has been one of my best friends since 6th grade (no lie!). We used to steal Starbursts from our teacher's (Mrs. Bailey) candy bowl. HA! Hopefully she's not reading this because I don't think she ever found out. :) Mrs. Bailey - if you are, please don't think any less of us. :) We couldn't help it. You had them sitting out and every day they were just screaming our names. :) haha!
Anyway .. Dawn and Lesedi met in college and have been together quite a few years now. He is from Botswana, Africa and is unfortunately (for us here who know him) moving back home next week. Dawn wanted some photos of the two of them since it's going to be a while since they get to see each other again. Hopefully these do the job! Aren't they so cute together!?

Reagan (the niece!) is growing up so quick! I can't believe her first birthday is less than a month away! I did some super cute photos of her splashing around in her kiddie pool at Grandma's last week and they were too cute not to share. :) Don't you think she is way too adorable in that bikini!?! :)
I was psyched when I got the call that Katie & Toby picked me to be their wedding photographer. We initially had a phone interview because they live down in Georgia. I couldn't imagine planning my wedding hundreds of miles away but Katie, Toby and each of their families did an amazing job. Everything was perfect!
Our day started off a bit different than the norm. Toby's sister had a pool party for all of their out of town guests so of course we had to photograph that! :) It was a lot of fun! Afterwards it was off to the Woodstock Country Club here in Indianapolis, where both their ceremony & reception were held. It was my first time photographing there and it definitely didn't disappoint. :) It was beautiful!
Katie & Toby .. I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Scotland! (I'm so jealous I'm not vacationing there right now!)
